You can use Klarna at any online retailer that accepts a debit card, including Louis Vuitton. The way it works is the same as using Klarna on Amazon: Use the retailers one-time card feature to create a virtual prepaid debit card for the value of your order, then use that to checkout the same way you would with the plastic in your wallet.
This all happens in the Klarna application for Android or iOS, so if you don’t already have that, download it. Once installed and signed in, head over to the Louis Vuitton website or to another retailer that stocks the brand (Remember: You can use Klarna at any online retailer), then add the item to your cart and head to the checkout.
It’s at this point you’ll want to click the Pay button at the bottom of the screen, then follow the steps to enter the value of the transaction and create a one-time card. You’ll then need to enter these virtual debit card details at the retailer to in the same way you would pay using your own card — using the long number, expiry date, etc.
Ensure the amount you request for the one-time card is enough to cover the value of the item itself, plus shipping and taxes. You can overshoot, and you’ll only be charged for what you spend. In fact, it’s probably best to do that so you don’t have to run through the process again if you find out you didn’t earmark enough.
