Best Simpsons LEGO Sets for 2022

Contrary to popular belief, there haven’t actually been too many Simpsons LEGO Sets over the years. In fact, there have been just two: the LEGO Simpsons House and the LEGO Kwik-E-Mart. Both of these Simpsons toys are highly collectible and have appreciated since being discontinued (more on that in a bit), meaning you’ll need to pay a premium if you want to add one to your collection.
LEGO Simpsons House
- Pieces: 2523
- Launched: February 2014
- Discontinued: December 2017
Considered the grail of the two Simpsons LEGO Sets we’ve seen so far, the LEGO Simpsons House comes with six minifigures and features a hinge in the middle and a removable roof, used to access the rooms inside. It’s complete with a functional garage that can be used to store Homer’s car (included), and accessories for each room and the outside area, including Bart’s skateboard ramp.
LEGO does not manufacture the LEGO Simpsons House anymore. It was released in 2014 and discontinued in 2017. Unfortunately, finding one still sealed in the original box is tough — though there are some out there. Resellers have limited quantities listed on Amazon and eBay, but for around $300 more than the $200 the set cost when it launched. Used models are available, but tread carefully.
LEGO Kwik-E-Mart
- Pieces: 2179
- Launched: May 2015
- Discontinued: December 2017
Complete with a Buzz Cola soda fountain, arcade games, comic books, hot dog machine, aisles filled with Krusty-O’s and a dumpster area with El Barto graffiti and a functioning dumpster. This models features opening rear walls to view the contents of the store and a removable roof, decked out with Apu’s famous secret vegetable garden, and space for Chief Wiggum’s cop car (included) out front.
Just like the LEGO Simpsons House, LEGO does not manufacturer the LEGO Kwik-E-Mart anymore. The 2179-piece LEGO Set is hard to come by in mint, sealed condition, but there are some floating around on Amazon and eBay. Again, though, you’ll need to pay over sticker for it. Just like the other Simpsons LEGO Sets on this list, this one retailed for $200 when new and is now fetching around $500.
Will There be More Simpsons LEGO Sets?
Considering 20th Century Fox and LEGO are still releasing new minifigures and what a resounding success the LEGO Simpsons House and LEGO Kwik-E-Mart sets were, it’s hard to imagine a world when another one doesn’t hit the shelves — maybe a LEGO Ned Flanders House or a LEGO Springfield Nuclear Power Plant for the 35th anniversary of The Simpsons in 2024. But that’s just us speculating.
