How to Cancel Noom

Because of how Noom handles payments, deferring to Apple to process them on iOS and Google to take care of them on Android, canceling your Noom subscription isn’t as straightforward as opening the application and clicking a button for some users.

That’s where we come in — we’ve been through the process using Noom for Android, iOS and Web and are here to show you how to cancel your Noom subscription on any device, so you don’t have to bounce from screen to screen looking for the option.

How to Cancel Noom Subscription on Android

If you took out your Noom subscription on Android and use the Play Store to process your payment, you’ll need to cancel it in there. This can be done in a few taps: Tap the profile icon in the top-right, then Payments & Subscriptions and then Subscriptions.

Now scroll through the list and locate Noom, then click on it. Tap on the Cancel Subscription button and follow the on-screen instructions to terminate your membership. Once done, you’ll be able to continue to use it through the renewal date.

If you signed up using a credit or debit card, on the other hand, you can cancel through the Noom application itself. Just open it, click the menu icon in the top-left corner, followed by Settings, then tap Manage Subscription and cancel it.

How to Cancel Noom Subscription on iPhone

If you signed up for Noom on iPad or iPhone, chances are you used the App Store to handle the payment. If that’s the case, you’ll need to cancel it via your Apple ID. This can be done using any device signed in to your Apple ID, like an iPad, iPhone or Mac.

The quickest way to cancel your Noom subscription on iPhone is to head into Settings, then click on your name at the top of the screen, followed by Subscriptions. From there, find and select Noom, then click Cancel Subscription.

You’ll be able to continue to access your subscription until it’s due to renew, so if your renewal date is October 12 and you cancel on October 1, you’ll be able to use it until October 12, when it will automatically cancel and access will be restricted.

Your other option here is to cancel Noom through the App Store on Mac. To do this, open the App Store, then click your name in the bottom-left corner, select View Information and scroll down and select Manage next to Subscriptions.

Now all that’s left to do is find Noom in the list, in the Active section, and click Edit, then Cancel Subscription. Again, you’ll be able to continue to use your subscription until the anniversary of the renewal date, so you won’t be shut out right away.

However, if you signed up using a credit or debit card, you can cancel through the Noom application itself. Just open it, click the menu icon in the top-left corner, followed by Settings, then tap Manage Subscription and cancel it.

How to Cancel Noom Subscription on Web

If you didn’t sign up and use your Apple ID or the Google Play Store as your payment method, you can cancel your Noom subscription through its website. To do this, head over to the website here and sign in to your Noom account.

From this page, scroll down and click Cancel Subscription. Your membership will then be terminated, though you’ll be able to use it up until the end of your billing cycle, so you won’t be locked out of the application (and all of your data) immediately.

Is Noom Hard to Cancel?

Once hard to cancel, Noom has came under fire for making it particularly difficult for users to cancel their subscription. It responded to those complaints, though, and it’s now relatively easy to cancel your Noom subscription — on mobile and desktop.

Can You Cancel Noom at Any Time and Get a Refund?

If you forgot to cancel your Noom trial before it renewed and you’ve been charged, you can contact Noom support and request a refund. More often than not, they be only to happy to help. The same applies to partial refunds for fixed-term subscriptions.
