How to Cancel Snapchat Plus

Snapchat Plus is a premium subscription service that offers additional features and benefits to its users. For a monthly fee, subscribers can access exclusive filters, lenses, and other perks that enhance their Snapchat experience. However, if you’ve decided that you no longer want to use the service, you may be wondering how to cancel your subscription.  

Regardless of whether you’re using Android or iPhone, if you cancel your Snapchat Plus subscription before 7 days have passed since starting the free trial, you’ll still have access to all of the Snapchat Plus features on your device until what would have been the date of renewal. Once the free trial has ended, you’ll lose access to those features unless you choose to renew.

How to Cancel Snapchat Plus on iPhone

First, open the Settings application on your iPhone (or iPad) and tap on your Apple ID. This will bring up a menu with various options related to your Apple account. From there, select “Subscriptions” to view a list of all the subscriptions associated with your Apple ID. Scroll through the list until you find “Snapchat” and then tap on it to view more details about your subscription.

Once you’ve accessed the Snapchat subscription details, you’ll see an option to “Cancel Subscription”. Tap on this button to initiate the cancellation process. You’ll be prompted to confirm your decision and may be asked to provide a reason for cancelling. After completing these steps, your Snapchat Plus subscription will be cancelled and you will no longer be charged for the service.

It’s important to note that iPhone users must cancel subscriptions 24 hours before the 7-day trial ends in order to avoid being charged. If you cancel on the last day of the trial, Apple will automatically renew your subscription and charge you for another month of service. To avoid this, make sure to cancel your subscription well in advance of the trial period ending.

How to Cancel Snapchat Plus on Android

For Android users, the process to cancel a Snapchat Plus subscription is slightly different. To begin, open the Snapchat app on your device and go to your profile by tapping on your Bitmoji in the top left corner of the screen. From there, look for the “Snapchat Plus” Membership Card and tap on it to view more details about your subscription.

Once you’ve accessed the Snapchat Plus Membership Card, you’ll see an option to “Manage your subscription”. Tap on this button to view a list of options related to your subscription. From there, choose “Snapchat” and then tap on “Cancel subscription” to initiate the cancellation process. You’ll be asked to confirm your decision and to provide a reason for cancelling.
