Vitality is a health and rewards program that offers members a variety of benefits, including discounts on gym memberships, free health checks, and cashback on healthy food purchases. However, if you are no longer interested in the program, you can cancel your membership at any time.
How to Cancel Vitality Life Insurance
- Call the Vitality customer service hotline on 0345 601 0072 or email them at email@example.com. Be sure to have your policy number and your date of birth ready.
- When you contact customer service, they will ask you why you are cancelling your membership. You can give any reason you want, but it is helpful to be honest so that they can improve the program for future members.
- Once you have provided your reason for cancelling, customer service will confirm your cancellation. They will also tell you if you will be required to pay any cancellation fees.

If you are cancelling your Vitality membership during the ‘cooling off” period, you won’t need to pay any cancellation fees and will have your first instalment refunded.
But if you are cancelling your membership after your free trial period has expired, you may be required to pay a cancellation fee. The amount of the cancellation fee will depend on your plan and how long you have been a member.
Once your cancellation has been processed, you will no longer be able to use the Vitality app or website. You will also lose your access to all of the program’s benefits. Your membership typically won’t expire till the next billing cycle, depending on when in the month you hand your notice in.
